After School Program

Supporting a child’s mental wellbeing in the home, school and community

The Therapeutic After School Program (ASP) is an Intensive Behavioral Health Program (IBHS) that supports school age children’s overall mental wellbeing and success in their home, school and community. The program consists of a range of therapeutic activities, including individualized, group, and structured social and recreational activities designed to help with the development of healthy coping and social skills. A Psychological Evaluation or a Written Order must be obtained to recommend the service.

The program is available to children ages 6 – 12 years old in Central PA who experience difficulty with behavioral and emotional functioning. Parent and caregiver participation is an essential component of the therapy.

Therapeutic ASP provides organized treatment, including individual, group and structured social and skill building activities, during the afternoon and evening hours.
